About the Freesia

Prized for an intense sweet fragrance and one of the most popular scented cut flowers. It grows from corms native to the Cape region of South Africa. Named after the German physician Friedrich Freese. The flowers open in sequence along one side of an arching stem. Its scent is widely used in perfumes, soaps, and bridal bouquets.
